Nature

The word nature is borrowed from the Old French nature and is derived from the Latin word natura, or "essential qualities, innate disposition", and in ancient times, literally meant "birth". In ancient philosophy, natura is mostly used as the Latin translation of the Greek word physis, which originally related to the intrinsic characteristics that plants, animals, and other features of the world develop of their own accord.

Within the various uses of the word today, "nature" often refers to geology and wildlife. Nature can refer to the general realm of living plants and animals, and in some cases to the processes associated with inanimate objects—the way that particular types of things exist and change of their own accord, such as the weather and geology of the Earth. It is often taken to mean the "natural environment" or wilderness—wild animals, rocks, forest, and in general those things that have not been substantially altered by human intervention, or which persist despite human intervention.

Artist - Riyaz Kazi

Artist Kazi Riyaz

Artist Kazi Riyaz was born on 15th May 1969 in a small village in Seogaon district, Maharashtra, India.

Nature inspires artists. And a painter creates nature through his imagination, composition and colors. One such painter whose nature is more vivid than the real is Artist Kazi Riaz.

Kazi Riyaz comes from a farmer family. His parents and neighbors encouraged him to join the police service. Riyaz joined the police band to fulfill Dad’s dream. Though he was interested in music, but he could not suppress his inner painter for long, and left the band and joined Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai, to pursue art education. There he began to portray his inner feelings in the form of pictures. He created a variety of artworks under the guidance of Kala Guru Patil Sir, but the inquisitive mind did not calm down and in his desire to give art a more vocal appearance, he met the nature painter SS Sheikh of the calendar system; after which Artist Kazi Riya’s works started to depict Nature prominently.

There is a rare nature of nature in his paintings. Be it the waters of the rivers, or the mist of fog; those have engraved every form and color of nature through his brush. Like other watercolor painters, he did not work on the same principle but created a different style of his own to display his inner artist. Due to his special attachment to nature, he displayed the seductive form of nature in his paintings, and in addition, he has worked for the conservation and promotion of nature.

Artist Qazi Riaz’s life was a struggle. When he came to Mumbai in search of a job, he served as a security guard. Artist Kazi Riyaz believes that you can do any work to make life easier, you can do livelihood, but to live life, you must have a set goal and make a strong effort to get the floor in that direction. This ideology also contributed to making Artist Kazi Riyaz cheerful, and he got an appointment as an art teacher. Artist Kazi Riyaz is employed as an art teacher at Ideal School and Junior College today. He was honored by Maharashtra State with the award of Adarsh Kala Teachers and Kohlapur with the Kala Shree Award.
